Bottesford

Opened in May 2024, William Roberts House is situated on the High Street in Bottesford.

Marion Roberts started her career in the funeral industry a little over 30 years ago, after taking on some of the responsibilities from her father–in–law, commonly known as Bill Roberts who was well known in Bottesford and throughout the Vale of Belvoir for his work within the building trade as well as the funeral industry. Eventually after some years, Marion had taken on the full responsibility of the funeral work after Bill retired. Marion continued to serve the Vale of Belvoir and surrounding areas until early 2020 when she decided to retire. Marion decided that instead of fully closing the doors, she wanted to pass the legacy of the William Roberts name to someone local, and that passed initially to M.A. Mills Funeral Service in Radcliffe–On–Trent, but then to A.W. Lymn when they decided to open William Roberts House, with the blessing of Marion and her family in May 2024.
