History
St Albans House, situated in Arnold, was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford who, at the time, was the president of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The office was fully refurbished in 2023.
This branch is conveniently located for residents of Arnold, Calverton, Daybrook, Epperstone, Killisick, Lambley, Lowdham, Oxton, Redhill, and Woodthorpe.

Russ joined us in May 2002 as a driver/bearer and progressed to the role of Funeral Director in 2011. Since then, he has been based at our Arnold office, where he has developed an extensive knowledge of the local community, including its residents, ministers, churches and customs. In 2013, Russell achieved his Diploma in Funeral Directing from the National Association of Funeral Directors.

Jessica joined the company in 2021 after working in childcare as a nursery room leader. She has achieved her Certificate in Funeral Arranging and Administration from the NAFD and is now working towards her Diploma in Funeral Directing. Jessica initially worked at our Carlton funeral home before moving to our Arnold funeral home in 2023.

Beryl joined us in April 2010 after previously working in an administrative role at Bramcote Crematorium. Since the age of 17, she has dedicated her career to office environments, specialising in reception and administrative duties.

Jodie joined us in 2023 alongside Beryl as a Receptionist/Administrator. Prior to this, she worked in the education sector as a Teaching Assistant and 1:1 support, earning a Foundation Degree in Supporting Teaching & Learning.
