Feedback & Complaints
NAFD Resolve
NAFD Resolve is the UK’s only free and independent dispute resolution service for the funeral sector.
It is designed to protect funeral consumers by providing a forum in which they can raise a complaint against an NAFD member and seek redress, while avoiding any stressful confrontation.
It is fully funded by the NAFD, with conciliation and adjudication services provided by qualified professionals from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
If you feel comfortable doing so, in the first instance we always recommend raising your complaint with your funeral director and giving them the opportunity to resolve your concerns. However, if you are not satisfied that your concerns have been adequately addressed by your funeral director, you have a right to use NAFD.
You can make a complaint via our online complaint form. You will receive notification that we have received your complaint within three working days.
